Leadfeeder as Source to Hubspot
closed

Hubspot has the account fields Original Source data 1 and
Original Source data 2 that provide context on where a lead came from. For marketing reporting, this is helpful in determining the ROI from Lead Gen tools. Including "Integration" and "Leadfeeder" for Original Source Data 1 and 2 respectively for accounts that originated in Leadfeeder would be very helpful.

Hello Dean Morris,
HubSpot integration now supports outgoing field mapping. You have the option to configure how the available Leadfeeder fields will be mapped to HubSpot fields (standard/custom). We support a number of filed types in that configuration. Original source is not in that list due to the complexity of that field type.
An alternative that I can propose is to use a set of custom fields that you will populate with values like "Integration" and "Leadfeeder" accordingly. For more information please give a check on the following article:

Good idea. Without these fields filled you can't use HubSpot Workflows properly or add Leadfeeder to attribution, which is kinda the whole idea of integrating Leadfeeder with HubSpot. The workaround using a fake user and make him owner is not how it should work and is improper use of HubSpot features. It is also an easy and cheap fix to add this information to the HubSpot integration, unlocking huge value.

The headline could also be "Get data on how much money Leadfeeder is making us".
We also have a great need for this function. Without it, it's not possible to follow up how many leads, deals and revenue is originating from Leadfeeder. Having this data will make it much easier to justify Leadfeeder expences.
This is a basic function in Hubspot integrations. It shouldn't be laborious issue to correct either, as it addresses two data fields in the API.

Silja: You can specify now the source of those companies/leads with the outgoing field mapping.
We are cooking also some stuff in regards to the following :)
